As of August 01, 2018 we conducted 36 tobacco retail surveys throughout Prichard and Semmes. The Tobacco Coordinator conducted 91 Presentations to middle and high school-aged youth on ENDS and the health consequences of tobacco where 2,117 students have been reached. Specific information relating to Activity 7 and 8 in our progress report template for this current contract are detailed below of our continued policy approach on prevention and cessation messaging at over 20 locations throughout Mobile County. Tobacco Education of low socioeconomic households continues at our community recreation centers and designated sites for LGBT youth.

Purpose of Event: Health and Wellness Teen Forum allowing students and parents to ask questions, make comments and get answers on the topics of vaping, underage drinking and marijuana. Several SWAT members were able to present valuable information on Vaping.

Outcome: Based on the questions and comments of the students and parents present, both students and parents present agreed that vaping is a major concern within the youth population and pledged continued support to the efforts of awareness at their respective schools.
