Two student winners were selected, one middle school student, Gibson Bean from Vestavia Middle School, and one high school student, Vanessa Olguin from Holy Family Cristo Rey. Both student’s designs are featured on our official Kick Butts Day t-shirt
This year, our Birmingham-area grant from the Alabama Department of Public Health sponsored six different schools in the Birmingham area to participate in Kick Butts Day activities. Participating schools included Holy Family Cristo Rey, Carver High School, Jefferson Christian Academy, Irondale Middle School, the Altamont School, and Spain Park High School.
